What's in 2009?

Crystallize your goals. Make a plan for achieving them and set yourself a deadline. Then with supreme confidence, determination and disregard for obstacles and other people’s criticisms carry out your plan.

Real Run or Real Walk?

I was quite disappointed with my result running the New balance real run 2008. I think I finished it under 2:05.00. The route is very challenging but yet exciting because this year they made it much more difficult. I think it would be easy but when you have not enough sleep and no motivation go then it is really difficult to finish it.

I was almost at the point of giving up and quitting the race half way but thank God I was reminded of this verse
from Romans 12:1-2 "let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross" and was inspired to finished it.

Three IMPORTANT reminder for me:
FAITH, ENDURANCE AND MOST OF ALL DISCIPLINE!!!!!

I'm listening to... "I'm Yours by Jason Mraz"

I've been listening to this song for 100X and still loving it....
check out the tube video really awesome voice and nice tune

I'm yours
by Jason Mraz

Well, you done done me and you bet I felt it
I tried to be chill but your so hot that I melted
I fell right through the cracks, now I'm tryin to get back
before the cool done run out I'll be givin it my best test
and nothin's gonna stop me but divine intervention
I reckon it's again my turn to win some or learn some

But I won't hesitate no more,
no more, it cannot wait
I'm yours

Well open up your mind and see like me
open up your plans and damn you're free
look into your heart and you'll find love love love love
listen to the music of the moment people dance and sing
We're just one big family
And it's our godforsaken right to be loved loved loved loved loved

So, i won't hesitate no more,
no more, it cannot wait i'm sure
there's no need to complicate our time is short
this is our fate
I'm yours

*scat*

I've been spendin' way too long checkin' my tongue in the mirror
and bendin' over backwards just to try to see it clearer
But my breath fogged up the glass
and so I drew a new face and I laughed
I guess what I'd be sayin' is there ain't no better reason
to rid yourself of vanities and just go with the seasons
it's what we aim to do
our name is our virtue

But I won't hesitate no more,
no more it cannot wait
I'm yours

Well open up your mind and see like me
open up your plans and damn you're free
look into your heart and you will find that the sky is yours

so please don't, please don't, please don't,
there's no need to complicate,
Cause our time is short
This, this, this is our fate,
I'm yours

Be inspired by The Last Lecture

September 18, 2007, A professor at Carnegie Mellon named Randy Pausch gave a powerful lecture in front of 400 people in the university. His lecture was about "Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams," he talked about his lessons learned and gave advice to students on how to achieve their own career and personal goals. He also wrote a famous book based on the same principles entitled "The Last Lecture", celebrating the dreams we all strive to make realities. He may have lost his battle to cancer, but his last lecture will always inspire people.

from the website of Carnegie Mellon University about Randy Pausch...
"Almost all of us have childhood dreams; for example, being an astronaut, or making movies or video games for a living. Sadly, most people don’t achieve theirs, and I think that’s a shame. I had several specific childhood dreams, and I’ve actually achieved most of them. More importantly, I have found ways, in particular the creation (with Don Marinelli), of CMU’s Entertainment Technology Center of helping many young people actually *achieve* their childhood dreams." - Randy Pausch, Oct. 23, 1960 - July 25, 2008
