Ten Reasons to Celebrate the Nations from my Housemate
My housemate was convincing to attend the Celebrate the Nations event. So I asked him to give 10 good reasons for me to attend, with the ten reasons he mention I was only 12% convinced to go. Few of the reason was to see him wear a batik costume for the event (duhh?) and to find the girl of my dream (Nahh??).
Eric's Ten Reason to attend Celebrate the Nations (With my side comment)
one: chance to dress up in a national costume (Not interested)
two: experience great worship (I have lots of worship CD)
three: listen to great message (It will be available in Podcast soon)
four: get a vision of what it is like to have church services in the singapore orchestra hall (yadayadayda????)
five: get a chance to see others dress up in their national costume (Not interested)
six: chance to meet old friends (huh??)
seven: worship and praise God with people from other nations different from no.2 because am talking about great musicians in no.2 (my worship CD are from other nations like australia, NZ, etc.)
eight: mime presentation of talents inC (ok, must be good one)
nine: somebody you might marry in the future, might be there (duhh??)
ten: .... (drum roll with tapping the table)
I wasn't convinced with the 9 reasons he mentioned but when he gave his closing remark which is his number ten
"You know what, you don't have to think too much of it, just go and let your hair down." (Hahahahaha)
I didn't know what it means or where it comes from but I was really convinced that he really is a man of wisdom.

Remind me of cross-post blog
Copied this from multiply FAQ to remind of cross-post functions in blogger.
Can I cross-post my blog entries between Multiply and another blog site?
Yes, we offer cross-posting (posting a single blog entry to Multiply and another blog site at the same time) between Multiply and three other blog sites:
1. LiveJournal
2. Blogger
3. TypePad
When you enable cross-posting, Multiply can automatically detect new entries you've written on one of these sites and post them on your Multiply site as well. And when you post a new blog entry on Multiply, we'll automatically post it on your LiveJournal, Blogger or TypePad site (unless you explicitly choose not to when posting the new entry). Even with cross-posting enabled, you can choose to prevent a specific entry on your other site from being cross-posted on Multiply. Just add the following code to your entry on the other site:
< !-- multiply:no_crosspost -- > (check the spaces in tags)
You can enable cross-posting the next time you import new entries from one of these sites. Just click on Upload at the top of any page and select Blog, then select the service from which to import new entries and enable cross-posting for future ones.
If you've enabled cross-posting, you can disable it at any time by going to Settings and selecting Advanced Posting.

Kid's perspective about Marriage
Some kids are wiser than Adults! I read this in my inbox the other day thought it was really funny. :)
HOW DO YOU DECIDE WHO TO MARRY?
You got to find somebody who likes the same stuff. Like, if you like sports, she should like it that you like sports, and she should keep the chips and dip coming. Alan, age 10
No person really decides before they grow up who they're going to marry. God decides it all way before, and you get to find out later who you're stuck with. Kristen, age 10
WHAT IS THE RIGHT AGE TO GET MARRIED?
Twenty-three is the best age because you know the person FOREVER by then. Camille, age 10
No age is good to get married at. You got to be a fool to get married. Freddie, age 6 (very wise for his age)
HOW CAN A STRANGER TELL IF TWO PEOPLE ARE MARRIED?
You might have to guess, based on whether they seem to be yelling at the same kids. Derrick, age 8
WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUR MUM AND DAD HAVE IN COMMON?
Both don't want any more kids. Lori, age 8
WHAT DO MOST PEOPLE DO ON A DATE?
Dates are for having fun, and people should use them to get to know each other. Even boys have something to say if you listen long enough. Lynnette, age 8 (isn't she a treasure)
On the first date, they just tell each other lies and that usually gets them interested enough to go for a second date. Martin, age 10 (Who said boys do not have brains)
WHAT WOULD YOU DO ON A FIRST DATE THAT WAS TURNING SOUR?
I'd run home and play dead. The next day I would call all the newspapers and make sure they wrote about me in all the dead columns. Craig, age 9
WHEN IS IT OKAY TO KISS SOMEONE?
When they're rich. Pam, age 7 (I could not have said it better myself)
The law says you have to be eighteen, so I wouldn't want to mess with that. Curt, age 7 (Good Point)
The rule goes like this: If you kiss someone, then you should marry them and have kids with them. It's the right thing to do. Howard, age 8 (Who made the rule?)
IS IT BETTER TO BE SINGLE OR MARRIED?
I don't know which is better, but I'll tell you one thing. I'm never going to have sex with my wife. I don't want to be all grossed out. Theodore, age 8 (Too much detail for his age)
It's better for girls to be single but not for boys. Boys need someone to clean up after them. Anita, age 9 (bless you child)
HOW WOULD THE WORLD BE DIFFERENT IF PEOPLE DIDN'T GET MARRIED?
There sure would be a lot of kids to explain, wouldn't there? Kelvin, age 8
And the #1 Favourite is?..
HOW WOULD YOU MAKE A MARRIAGE WORK?
Tell your wife that she looks pretty, even if she looks like a truck. Ricky, age 10 (The boy already understands)
